MiniCol Cheese

I was contacted by Emma from Just Health PR in London to do some food photography. The photographs were to be used in an informational leaflet for MiniCol cheese which is designed to help reduce cholesterol if eaten regularly. Emma is Lizzie Kennedy’s (Lizzie’s Kitchen) daughter. Lizzie runs her own cookery classes at her home in Drumbo and I met her earlier this year at Balmoral Show where she was doing a cookery demonstration. Emma needed someone to create recipes that the cheese could be used in and also someone to photograph the food. Lizzie was able to come up with some great recipes the cheese could be used in and we arranged a day were I could call round to Lizzie’s to photograph the food.

Lizzie did a fantastic job creating five amazing looking dishes as you can see below. When photographing food it’s always great to have someone who really knows what they are doing. Not only can they create and prep the food but it’s great being able to bounce ideas of each other about how the food should look and what props to use in the background.
